India’s PVC pipes and second largest PVC resin manufacturer Finolex Pipes has been chosen as one of Asia’s 100 Best & Fastest Growing Marketing Brands.

Mr. S. S. Dhanorkar, Managing Director of Finolex Industries Ltd. received the honor in a felicitation ceremony held recently in Delhi.

As a part of the special issue of WCRC Leaders Asia (a leading pan-Asian business, policy & leadership magazine recently voted as the Best Multination Magazine of the Year by Media Federation of India), a survey-based feature on “Asia’s Best & Fastest Growing Manufacturing companies 2014” has been conceptualized. The top 100 list consist brands from South Asia, GCC & South East Asia.

“Finolex Pipes understands the value of what water can do in the urban and rural context. A pipeline which brings water to a farmer’s field is his lifeline. If this pipeline breaks down, then the farmer stands to lose not only his crop, but his entire livelihood. This is why we have laid a very high emphasis on our product quality. We consider it our primary responsibility to ensure that the pipeline not only brings life into his crop but also brings him prosperity,” said Mr. S. S. Dhanorkar, Managing Director of Finolex Industries Ltd.

WCRC Leaders – Asia edition had conducted a research survey, reaching out to various Asian Manufacturing brands, operating out of Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Thailand, UAE & Vietnam. Based on the survey, a list of Asian companies was identified.

The first phase of the research required the generation of a list of categories; a list of approximately 500 companies who were shortlisted by ibrands 360 and the editorial team of Leaders Asia Magazine. This list will be shortlisted to a list of 200 which will be further shortlisted to the final list of Asia’s 100 Best & Fastest Growing Manufacturing Companies after the final evaluation by KPMG in India.
